The Buddhist society of faculty of Applied Science integrates all of the Sinhalese students who registered as undergraduate students in South Eastern University of Sri Lanka will be automatically getting the membership of the society.

Objectives of the Buddhist Society are given below:

• To provide a channel of communication between members and the relevant committees and bodies within the Students’ Union and the University.
• To promote the integration of students with the university community by establishing and maintaining a means of communication of members; socially, intellectually and matters relating to members.
• To provide a specific forum for the dissemination, discussion and debates of information and knowledge about matters of interest for members.
• To promote the Buddhist Culture among University’s community.
